Information and Communication TechnologY in English Language Teaching: Some Opportunities and Challenges

چکیده

The integration of Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) in education has brought dramatic modifications the paradigms methods practiced, particularly developed countries. In recent years, exploitation ICTs teaching learning different subjects is being expanded developing countries too. This study made an attempt to explore opportunities challenges using English language (ELT) school country Nepal. teachers students from two schools were informants study, interview focus group discussion (FGD) used as research methods. concluded that useful for their activities accessing resources, preparing presenting lesson conducting collaborative activities. However, it was found not satisfied with utilization English. Access ICT tools, skills needed use main problems them learning. Therefore, these constraints need be minimized improve ELT.
